Prerequisites
If you have a Windows Desktop/Laptop: You have two options: (i) Purchase Minecraft for Windows 10 via the Microsoft Store and then download Code Connection for Windows 10 (https://minecraft.makecode.com/setup/minecraft-windows10), OR (ii) Get access to Minecraft Education Edition (which comes integrated with Code Connection) – see below for details.
If you have a Mac: You will need access to Minecraft Education Edition (which comes integrated with Code Connection) using your school email id. A regular Minecraft license WILL NOT work.
To see if you can get access to Minecraft Education Edition through your school district, you can check eligibility here: https://education.minecraft.net/get-started/. Enter your student’s official school email (not personal email). If this site says you have access, we will send you detailed instructions prior to camp.
Contact us at hello@kodeclik.com if you have questions.
You will need a high-speed Internet connection.
