Course Outline
Part 1: Basics
Students will get introduced to coding in Python, including numbers, strings, arrays, conditional statements, control constructs, functions, and iterators.
Part 2: Writing Complex Programs
Students will learn how to decompose problem statements to write complex programs, including programs that respond and react to user inputs, and simple textual games. This part also includes a brief introduction to turtle graphics programming.
Part 3: Libraries, Models, and APIs
Students will learn about the fundamentals of libraries like numpy, working with datasets, training simple models, and using APIs to invoke external libraries.
Part 4: Prompting and Interfacing with GPT-4
Students will learn how to write Python programs that involve AI apps using ChatGPT, DALLE-2, and GPT-4. They will learn basics of prompting and how to create end-to-end applications.

You will need a Windows, Mac, or Linux laptop or desktop with a working Internet connection. No other specific software is needed.
