How to Make a Ladder in Minecraft

Ladders are a simple but useful item in Minecraft, and this blog post will show you how to get them and how to use them in your own world!

Method 1 (Craft it):

1. Obtain at least seven sticks (more if you want more ladders).

2. Place the sticks in a ladder like formation in the crafting tabe (three on each vertical side and one in the center).

3. Craft three ladders out of your seven sticks. Done!

Method 2 (Find it):

You can also find ladders in village houses such as churches in plains villages, as well as igloos. Woodland Mansions, strongholds and end ships alo contain ladders.

Uses of Ladders in Minecraft

Ladders can be used to scale great heights easily and safely. To place a ladder, simply place it on the side of a block. They can be mined quickly and efficiently with an axe with the gold axe being the fastest. If falling from a height, landing on a ladder will eradicate all fall damage. Note that animals and villagers can climb ladders, so it may not be the best idea for an entrance into your secret base!
